Spring Clinics


Larry Barron, the skating coach for the Anaheim Ducks NHL team, is running his third annual hockey clinic at Yerba Buena. We received great feedback from players and parents in past years and this clinic will sell out.

Dates: August 25th – 27th
Cost: $185 for 3.5 hours of on-ice training. Full gear required.

Open to any USA Hockey registered Squirt aged player (2007 & 2008) and experienced Mites (2009):

  • Friday August 25: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Saturday August 26: 5:15pm – 6:55pm
  • Sunday August 27: 9:00am – 10:30am

  • This clinic is ideal for current Travel Team (A/B) and experienced (2009) Mite players.

Open to any USA Hockey registered Peewee aged player (2005 & 2006), Bantam (2003 & 2004) and High School:

  • Friday August 25: 7:45pm – 8:45pm
  • Saturday August 26: 7:05pm – 8:45pm
  • Sunday August 27: 10:45am – 12:15pm

  • This clinic is ideal for current Travel Team (A/B) and Tier (AA, AAA) players.


Why Leave Hockey Development (WLHD) is coming to San Francisco. Hands and Feet Clinics are a once a week clinic during the May. WLHD Staff will conduct high impact skills development for hockey players who are serious about developing their skills. The clinics are open to all players (B, A, and Tier level players) but is not recommended for beginners. The Group will be run though many different hand and feet drills as well as player interaction drills. Group size will be limited to 32 skaters plus 4 goalies to insure that there is a good work rest ratio.
