HOCKEY SEASON IS AROUND THE CORNER!

We are excited to announce the 2025-2026 San Francisco Sabercats tryout schedule. Tryouts are for the coming NorCal season, which runs from mid August through March, where we will be fielding teams at the 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, and High School levels. See below for age groups and tryout times.

Come tryout to be part of this amazing hockey community!

PLEASE READ the following:

1. Register your player(s) for a 2025-2026 USA Hockey Number with this link.
2. Sign up with the SF Sabercats for the tryouts with the following link and you’re all set
   • ALL players MUST sign up for the try outs regardless if they can or cannot attend tryouts
   • If the player cannot attend try outs, please contact Coach George (g_caliendo@yahoo.com)

All players will be notified of roster decisions by Sunday night, June 22nd. We will send notification to the email address you use for registration.

If you do not receive an email by Monday June 23rd at 9am, please email- sabercatsregistrar@gmail.com.

Note: We do not hold tryouts for 6u or 8u. For young players interested in joining the Sabercats, coaches will evaluate appropriate placement for each player, which ranges from skating and hockey classes with Yerba Buena’s skating school up to and including direct placement into the Sabercats 6u/8u program.
