Join us for a fun-filled evening of games, food, drinks, chuck-a-puck, a costume contest and more! Tickets and Sponsorships are available for purchase now. All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Youth Hockey Association and our SF Sabercats Scholarship Fund which awarded over $22,000 to families this season.

The SF Sabercats Halloween Fundraiser is coming soon!

  • Ghosts and goblins, wizards and witches, and all creatures of the night…save the date for a monster bash!
  • Come, if you dare, and join us for the 13th Annual Sabercats Halloween Fundraiser on Friday, November 1st from 6:30-9:00 pm. A good time to be had by all, filled with games, food, and drink. Wear your best ghoulish attire and be entered into the costume contest. Wear your skates and show off your scary skills.
  • Details for the online auction that may feature anything from Sabercats swag, private lessons, and hockey gear to wine tasting events, gift baskets, and gift certificates will follow. Remember: All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Youth Hockey Association and our Sabercats Scholarship Fund.

San Francisco Youth Hockey Association (SFYHA) scholarships may be available for members of SFYHA Travel teams. SFYHA scholarships are one-time, partial scholarship awards intended for members facing financial hardship or a compelling current event that resulted in the need for scholarship consideration. All awards will be applied directly to the member’s SFYHA dues and are not redeemable for cash. All award decisions are the discretion of the SFYHA Board and are only awarded when funds are available. NOTE: partial and full scholarships are available as a credit against Sabercats dues.

Process

The player must first be registered with SFYHA. The scholarship application form must be completed and include all the information requested . You will then be notified in November upon the final decision of the SFYHA Board.

Volunteer Activity 
SFYHA is run by volunteers. As such, you as a scholarship applicant or recipient may be asked to perform some type of volunteer service in support of the SFYHA.

Confidentiality 
All application information will be held in strict confidence by the SFYHA Board and Norcal.

NORCAL Youth Hockey Association Scholarship

Each year NorCal Youth Hockey grants several scholarships to players in need of assistance for the current season. Click Here to learn more and to complete the 24-25 Season Scholarship Application. Deadline to submit application is September 30, 2024.
